The adhesive strength tester
HFP according to Dr. Nieth is used to test the adhesive strength according to
the test specifications ASTM 123-84 and DIN 50 978.
The field of application reaches from even, hot-dip galvanized surfaces to zinc
coatings on steel tubes. Round specimen with diameters up to 200 mm require a
prosmatic instead of the normal three-spot head-piece. Because of the special
construction of this instrument surfaces can be tested in all positions , as well
