This tester serves to determine changes of adhesive strength between filler and
lacquer.
It is suitable for comparing measurements with or without a certain test value.
For testing a graver with a hardmetal blade is pressed against the specimen using
a spring at an agle of 10°. The pre-load of the spring can be set infinitely
variable according to a load scale. The measured value is the spring load (scale
point) at which the lacquer is just scraped.
