| Fine adjustment for Laser Fibre Coupling

A laser fibre coupling must meet very high requirements when using special prepared
monomode fibres (e.g. with taper) for a high degree of coupling.
A mechanical support allows an accurate positioning of monomode fibres to a semiconductor
laser by means of a screw driver. The neccessary shifting tolerances of 0.5 µm
are realised through a clearance free reduction gear and a three-axial friction
free monolithic guide. |
| The system is distinguished
by a small volume (about 50 cm3) as well as by an insensibility to changings of
temperature and sweeping excitation (e.g. microphony). |
