• Testing the burning behavior of products (non-combustible construction materials).

The device tests construction materials and assesses their burning behavior.

The specimen are lowered into an oven with a temperature of 750°C. The oven is basically composed of the rack, the heater winding, thermocouples, ignition flame and the specimen holder. The oven temperature and the data collection is software-controlled. The software controls the heating phase of the oven and provides calculations and evaluations of the standard. The power supply for the heater winding is given by a switching power supply unit and a pulse-width modulation. The power supply for the controller is provided by an IEC-320 AC power cordset 230 VAC (50/60 Hz).
